This is definitely a portfolio quality piece. The weighting is outstanding, and the audio starts to suggest a story. There isn't really anything i have to complain about. VERY nice work jin.
Great job! Your animation is very well done and can't really say much to improve on. Everything down the the body movement to the quick movement of the hands and fingers are all well done. The dropping of the bar bell was a nice way to end it too and the addition of sound really helps to push it along. I really think it looks great as it is, but if I were to say anything else is perhaps try rendering the movement in a dynamic composition. It's not necessary, as your video shows off the movement very well, but it might be nice to see this from something different than a birds-eye-view.
I wish I had something to say but it appears that you video stops every three seconds.. damn my luck with computers today.. Scrubbing through it looked nice though.. I'll give you a better response once I actually get to see it in motion Jin.
Jin this is rediculous. I would suggest having the drop of the weight at the end could use losing a keyframe on the hands. They seem to hesitate a little long for the action that is taking place. Also, I think you should post the successful lift that you already created as well (fully rendered). You did the work, you might as well use it. If you created 3 or 4 of these it would look really nice in your portfolio (if you have room).
jin you are ridiculous. this piece looks amazing. i like how you switched the ending to the character dropping the barbell. there really isn't a lot left to say. great job

your animation is solid. I like how he fails at the end but I would realy like to see him get it up, lock it out, and then drop it. just a suggestion.

Agreed! This is an outstanding piece (especially considering the attention to detail). Maybe add motion blur to the final render?
awesome work, Maybe make the weight act heavier when hitting the ground by reducing the float time.
